New Students
Welcome! You have just joined (or are about to join) the best department on campus. This page is your online starting point to learning about the department and all it has to offer. Don't limit yourself to the web though, the people here are probably your best resource. Ask us questions! We are more than willing to pass on what we've learned to you. This goes for both students and faculty alike. Students can usually be found in B356

- League of Astronomers front page -- This is our website (what the world sees).
- League of Astronomers -- This is our wiki page (members only... so to speak).
Everything Else
Here are a few bits to get you acquainted with the department and what is has to offer, from the planetarium to the very important Friday pizza lunch. This is of course just a starting point. The wiki is here for you to shape and change into what you think it should be. If there's something you know that people should know about, tell us! Have fun.
| Facilities | Find out where you can go in astronomy. |
| Research | What is research? How do you do it? Find out! |
| Academics | A little advice from those who have been there. |
| Meetings | A few notes about activities around the department. |
| Grad School | Hear all about it (maybe the grads could throw in a few words?) |
| GRE | Disturbing enough to get it's own page. |
Soda/Pop
Call it what you will, as long as you pay in US dollars (Euros also accepted, gold is negotiable - see David). Look for it in the fridge occupying B356F. All proceeds go to support undergraduate astronomy, affectionately known as the League of Astronomers. All very reasonably priced - except the Red Bull, we charge a lot for that.
